Signature Requirements:
Petitioners eventually (after the Superior Court verifies the Ballot Synopsis) have 180 days to gather signature from 35% (thirty-five percent) of the total votes cast for the recalled candidate during their last election.
In this case, Councilperson Robertson received 19,487 votes in her 2019 victory — 60.67% of the 32,118 votes cast in the election.
For our petition to elicit a recall, we will need 11,242 physical signatures from registered voters in Bellevue voting precincts.

Washington State Constitution, Article 1, Section 34
The legislature shall pass the necessary laws to carry out the provisions of section thirty-three (33) of this article, and to facilitate its operation and effect without delay:

The percentages required shall be, state officers, other than judges, senators and representatives, city officers of cities of the first class, school district boards in cities of the first class; county officers of counties of the first, second and third classes, twenty-five per cent.
Officers of all other political subdivisions, cities, towns, townships, precincts and school districts not herein mentioned, and state senators and representatives, thirty-five per cent.
